Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Government Institutional Business for Delhi NCR and Rajasthan.

The State Head will be responsible for driving strategic engagement with government departments, public sector undertakings, and allied institutions, ensuring growth in business volumes, profitability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage government business operations across assigned states.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in state governments, municipal bodies, and public institutions.

- Drive acquisition and servicing of government accounts, deposits, and institutional banking products.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with product, operations, and compliance teams to deliver tailored solutions.

- Guide and mentor a team of Relationship Managers to achieve business targets.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to strategize effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in government or institutional banking.

- Proven track record in handling high-value government relationships.

- Strong understanding of public sector dynamics and regulatory environment.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

- MBA or equivalent degree in Finance/Banking preferred.
