Our client, a global strategy consulting firm, is collaborating with a Indian FMCG company on a large-scale transformation project. They are seeking a senior sales consultant with prior experience in the FMCG industry to assist in establishing local sales processes, systems, and units.
This project involves working closely with the local sales teams to set up robust operations. The consultant will be responsible for optimising every stage of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, by reducing bottlenecks, enhancing efficiency, and enabling the salesforce with the right resources and insights
The role requires a hands-on approach, with the consultant being on-site in Indore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up local sales processes and systems
- Equip sales teams with resources such as training, collateral, and case studies to address client needs
- Provide real-time access to product information, competitive insights, and success stories
- Provide training and support to enhance the performance and effectiveness of the sales teams
- Work closely with local sales teams and potentially lead smaller project teams
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including local sales teams, distributors, and senior management
Your Background:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably within the FMCG sector
- Proven track record in establishing sales operations and distribution networks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 9-month contract
The consultant will be required to travel/relocate to Indore.
