Job Overview:
Senior Manager -New Product Development - [ Healthcare/FMCG only ]
- We are seeking an experienced and innovative New Product Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development of new products from concept to commercialization, with a focus on ensuring innovation, quality, and market relevance.
- This role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and project management skills to deliver breakthrough products that align with customer needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Ideation:
- Lead the ideation and conceptualization of new products within the healthcare/FMCG portfolio.
- Identify emerging market trends, consumer insights, and competitive products to shape the development of innovative product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps aligned with business goals.
New Product Development:
- Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from idea generation to product launch, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct feasibility studies and market research to validate new product concepts and assess consumer demand.
- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to ensure products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Project Management:
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resources for new product launches.
- Lead product development teams and oversee key milestones to ensure projects stay on track.
- Continuously monitor product progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Consumer and Market Research:
- Perform market analysis and gather consumer feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other research methodologies.
- Analyze competitors' products and identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and production teams to ensure smooth transition from development to commercialization.
- Ensure strong collaboration with regulatory affairs to secure necessary product approvals and certifications.
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure all products are developed in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance processes.
- Review and approve product specifications, labelling, and packaging to meet legal and branding guidelines.
