Job Title: Relationship Manager Government Banking & Institutional Sales

Job Summary:
The Relationship Manager Government Banking & Institutional Sales is responsible for acquiring, managing, and deepening relationships with government departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and institutional clients such as educational bodies, municipal corporations, and autonomous institutions.
The role focuses on providing tailored banking and financial solutions while ensuring compliance and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with government entities and institutions.
- Drive acquisition of new institutional accounts and cross-sell banking products like current accounts, cash management services, term deposits, and digital solutions.
- Liaise with key stakeholders within government bodies to identify business opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, especially for government-linked transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Legal, Compliance) to facilitate onboarding and service delivery.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance/Commerce/Business; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in institutional or government banking.
- Deep understanding of government and institutional banking needs and processes.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of treasury, cash management, and digital banking products.
