MPS operates in a high-growth market that is currently fragmented and headed toward consolidation. The largest player is ~USD 300 million in Revenues while the total addressable market is expected to cross USD 300 Billion in 2027 at a CAGR of 15 percent. JOB TITLE : Head of IT and SysOps

POSITION OVERVIEW :

- We are looking for a seasoned Head of IT & SysOps to oversee the seamless operation and optimization of our IT infrastructure and system operations globally. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure that IT systems are secure, scalable, and effectively support business growth.

- As the Head of IT & SysOps, you will be responsible for ensuring uptime, enhancing system performance, driving automation, and ensuring the security and reliability of all operational systems across the organization.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, including Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure, and be able to build and manage high-performance IT operations teams. Adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential to collaborate across departments and drive organizational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Infrastructure & System Operations Management:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of a robust IT infrastructure and system operations environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

- Ensure optimal performance and uptime of all critical systems, databases, and services.

- Lead the adoption of DevOps methodologies to drive continuous integration, delivery, and automation of IT operations.

Cloud & On-Premise Operations:

- Manage the integration, optimization, and scaling of Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure services, alongside on-premise systems. Ensure seamless cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure management where necessary.

- Lead cloud migration projects and manage hybrid infrastructure environments, ensuring efficient cloud utilization.

- Drive the strategic implementation of Google Cloud solutions for scalability and security in line with business objectives.

SysOps & Automation:

- Drive automation initiatives for system monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across all IT operations.

- Implement and oversee configuration management, automated deployments, and system updates to maintain operational excellence.

- Monitor systems for potential threats, performance bottlenecks, and compliance with internal and externalregulations.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Build and lead a high-performing SysOps team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical expertise, and accountability.

- Ensure continuous development of team members by identifying skills gaps and providing relevant training opportunities.

- Collaborate with other departments to support technology needs and drive efficient cross-functional teamwork.

Security & Compliance:

- Ensure the security of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, developing policies and practices for disaster recovery and business continuity.

- Manage and enforce IT compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA) and ensure systems meet regulatory requirements.

- Oversee the implementation of security protocols, firewalls, and risk mitigation strategies to prevent cyber threats and system vulnerabilities.

Vendor & Resource Management:

- Oversee the procurement and management of IT hardware, software, and cloud services, including Google Cloud and other platforms.

- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.

- Ensure budget optimization for IT infrastructure, balancing investment in new technology with operational costs.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for system performance, uptime, security, and cost efficiency.

- Present regular updates to senior management on IT infrastructure performance, challenges, and future roadmap.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)

- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system operations, and cloud management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

- Proven experience in managing cloud-based and on-premise infrastructures, including Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation tools, and cloud-native architectures.

- Expertise in networking, system security, virtualization, and disaster recovery planning.

- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar automation platforms.

- Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a high-performing IT operations team.

SKILLS

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments and fostering collaboration.

- Strategic thinker with a service-oriented approach, capable of understanding business needs and crafting IT strategies that drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

- Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing IT and SysOps teams across multiple geographies.

- Self-driven and highly adaptable, able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment, while managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.

- Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Certified, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or ITIL are preferred, highlighting your expertise in cloud infrastructure and

security standards.

- Experience managing IT operations for global or multi-location environments, including a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in a geographically distributed infrastructure.

- In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks and standards such as ISO, GDPR, and HIPAA, with the ability to ensure system operations meet international regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
