Lean Manufacturing Consultant - TQM - Consumer Durables - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual

Our client, a global consulting form, is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Consultant with expertise in manufacturing quality, Total Quality Management (TQM), and lean manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in line balancing, plant layout optimization, and process improvement within the consumer durables industry

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and waste reduction

- Implement TQM principles to enhance production quality and ensure compliance with industry standards

- Optimize manufacturing processes, including line balancing, workflow automation, and plant layout improvements

- Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and cost efficiency

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and manufacturing best practices

- Utilize data-driven methodologies to monitor and improve production performance

- Conduct training sessions and workshops on lean principles and process optimization

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field

- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, TQM, and lean manufacturing

- Hands-on expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement

- Experience in line balancing, plant layout optimization, and workflow automation

- Proven experience in consumer durables manufacturing

Preferred Skills:

- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt preferred)

- Experience in supply chain optimization and production planning

This is a 12-month contractual opportunity. The consultant will be required to work on-site from Bangalore for the entire duration of the project
