General Manager - Finance - Cosmetic/FMCG Firm

Hiring for "General Manager - Finance" in cosmetic company.

Candidate would be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing risks, and providing leadership to the finance team.

Looking qualified CA / - MBA in Finance or equivalent degree (preferred) with minimum experience of 8-10 years of progressive financial management.

Proven track record in strategic financial leadership roles.

Location - Kolkata/West Bengal

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Management:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.

- Analyze financial performance, identifying areas of improvement and risk mitigation.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax laws.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flow to meet operational needs and investment goals.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.

Business Support:

- Partner with various departments to evaluate and support business initiatives.

- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor and improve operational performance.
