Finance Controller - Energy/Power/Manufacturing Sector - CA

Summary of the Role:

The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring effective financial planning, budgeting, compliance, risk management and reporting.

This role is crucial for maintaining financial stability, optimizing resources and supporting business growth while ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets and forecasts to drive business objectives.

- Optimize cash flow, working capital and fund allocation to ensure financial stability.

- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to strengthen overall financial performance and compliance.

- Preparation of Ind AS Financials

- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing

- Statutory Audit/Tax Audit/Cost audit and data compilation for various revenue authorities

- Internal Controls/Internal Financial Controls (IFC Audit)

- Ensuring compliance with DOA/SOPs

- AOP/Financial Planning & Analysis

- Corporate Financial Reporting

- Functional support to HOD in various new initiatives. Like Cost reduction, IT development etc.

- Managing day to day Accounting activities

- Sound Knowledge of ERP (Microsoft Business Centre is preferable)

- Ledger Scrutiny

- Budget Compilation

Preferred Industry: Energy or power sector (must have manufacturing set up experience in a medium sized company).

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.

- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling roles, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, corporate finance, and risk management.

- Ability to analyze financial data and implement effective solutions.

- Strong team management and collaboration with financial institutions.

- Ensuring regulatory adherence and transparent financial reporting.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making skills.
