Key Responsibilities:
Center of Excellence & Product Strategy:
- Act as the internal risk subject matter expert within the CoE, supporting strategic initiatives and solution development.
- Have a good understanding of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and processes.
- Have experience with claims data and analytics
- Have a solid understanding of unique claim types (casualty, property, FINPRO, Cyber)
- Understanding of process flows between systems function (intake to TPA to RMIS for example)
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to guide feature design, ensure alignment with safety/risk standards, and validate product performance from a practitioners perspective.
- Provide feedback and validation on user workflows, risk modeling logic, and analytics tied more effective loss control, to risk prevention and best practices.
Sales & Business Development Support:
- Partner with the Sales and Business Development teams to support client discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proposal development.
- Serve as a technical expert in client-facing conversations related to RMIS implementation.
- Help translate industry challenges into product features and value propositions that resonate with prospective clients.
Customer Support & Implementation:
- Support the Customer Support team with escalated inquiries, helping interpret complex SMS use cases and align customer needs with platform functionality.
- Assist with onboarding and configuration of safety workflows for new clients, ensuring alignment with best practices in loss control and risk management.
- Develop and deliver training materials to support system adoption, both internally and externally.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education:
- Master's/Bachelors degree in Risk Management, or related field.
- Advanced certifications (ARM, CRISC, RMIS-CRMP, PMI) are a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, risk analytics or claims management
- Deep understanding and familiarity with RMIS software platforms (such as Riskonnect, Archer, Origami Risk) or direct experience supporting such system implementations is a must.
- Experience with TPA (3rd party administrator) or insurance company systems a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and teams, EHS, loss control, and/or enterprise risk management a plus.
- Experience with using tools like Tableau or PowerBI
- Experience working across departments in a matrixed or consulting environment is highly desirable.
Skills & Tools:
- Proficient with data tools (Power BI, Excel, Tableau) and comfortable working with structured safety and risk data.
- Strong communication skills able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to translate regulatory and operational requirements into software and service solutions.
- Exposure to Agile product development, SaaS environments, or cross-functional collaboration with engineering/development team is a bonus.
