Director of Engineering - Data Platform

- As a Director of Data Clean Room, you'll lead our global efforts in secure data collaboration and

privacy-enhancing technologies.

- This role will oversee cross-functional teams, including a significant engineering and operational presence in India. You will play a key leadership role in shaping our platform's capabilities, ensuring global compliance, and driving adoption across enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy & Roadmap: Help define and own the vision for Data Clean Room solutions, aligning

with customer needs and market opportunities.

- India Team Leadership: Provide direction and functional leadership to the team based in India, including engineering, product ops, or QE resources. Ensure alignment across time zones and support career development for team members.

- Product Development: Partner with Product Management to deliver scalable clean room

solutions that scale globally.

- Clients Engagement: Interface with internal teams to drive adoption and evangelize product capabilities as needed.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success, InfoSec, and Post Sales teams to operationalize clean room functionality at scale.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in data platforms, privacy technologies, or product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Must have led the development of scalable data platforms or clean room technologies.

- Experience in productizing data infrastructure

- Prefer candidates from product companies, SaaS/cloud-native platforms, or large-scale data-driven tech organizations.

- Experience with real-world implementation of clean room architectures, ideally in a production environment using real customer data.

- Must have led cross-functional, global teams (engineering + product + data science).

- Should have directly overseen the end-to-end delivery of platform capabilities

- Team Leadership: Proven success managing or collaborating with globally distributed teams, including direct management of technical teams in India.

- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of cloud data architecture, data privacy-preserving computation (e.g., differential privacy), data anonymization.

- Communication: Excellent stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a cloud platform, or distributed data environment.

- Familiarity with Ad Tech: Knowledge of advertising technology ecosystems and data privacy challenges in ad tech.
