We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our real estate business. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with deep exposure to real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, capital structuring, compliance, and providing strategic financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Financial Leadership

- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive long-term strategic growth.

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation strategies.

- Develop and execute financial models to evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities.

Accounting & Compliance

- Oversee accounting, audit, taxation, and reporting functions in line with Ind AS and other regulatory frameworks.

- Ensure timely statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance with RERA, GST, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.

- Establish strong internal controls and corporate governance standards.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

- Manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, and private equity investors for debt/equity funding.

- Structure and negotiate project financing, working capital, and construction finance deals.

- Represent the company in investor meetings and manage financial reporting to stakeholders.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

- Maintain robust cash flow oversight, optimizing working capital and ensuring liquidity for project execution.

- Monitor collections, vendor payments, and escrow accounts as per RERA compliance.

Risk Management

- Identify financial and operational risks across projects and implement mitigation strategies.

- Ensure insurance coverage, legal compliance, and safeguard of company assets.

Team Leadership

- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team.

- Collaborate with business, legal, project, and procurement teams to drive financial discipline and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

Experience: 20+ years of post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/CFO role

Industry Exposure: Real estate, construction, or infrastructure.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong understanding of real estate project finance, land acquisition, joint development agreements (JDAs), and SPV structures

- Deep knowledge of Ind AS, RERA, GST, and direct taxation

- Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, and dealing with financial institutions

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
