Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Framework Development: Define and develop a comprehensive strategy and framework for catalogue quality improvement across the network, encompassing data standards, quality metrics, and governance mechanisms.
- Process Design & Implementation: Design and implement scalable processes and workflows for onboarding, monitoring, and improving the catalogue quality of sellers and seller network participants.
- Data Quality Management: Establish and enforce data quality standards, guidelines, and best practices for product and service information. Implement mechanisms for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment.
- Visibility Enhancement: Identify and implement strategies and technical solutions to improve the visibility and discoverability of seller catalogues on buyer applications, considering factors like search optimization, categorization, and presentation.
- API Integration & Data Exchange: Leverage and understand APIs for data exchange and integration to facilitate efficient catalogue management and quality checks across the network. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track catalogue quality and visibility metrics. Establish reporting mechanisms to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Ecosystem Collaboration: Engage and collaborate with seller network participants (e.g., seller platforms, technology providers, buyer platforms) to understand their catalogue management processes and provide guidance and support for quality improvement.
- Consultative Problem Solving: Adopt a consultative approach to understand the challenges faced by sellers and network participants related to catalogue quality and visibility. Develop and implement effective solutions in a collaborative manner.
- Tooling & Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that can aid in catalogue quality management, data validation, and visibility enhancement.
- Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and documentation to educate sellers and network participants on catalogue quality standards and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in catalogue management, data quality, and e-commerce visibility, and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in data quality management, catalogue management, e-commerce operations, or related roles.
- Strong technical understanding of data management principles, data quality frameworks, and data governance.
- Working knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP) and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
- Experience with data validation tools, data cleansing techniques, and data analysis.
- Proven ability to define and implement processes and workflows for data or content management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong focus on achieving measurable improvements.
- Ability to think strategically at an ecosystem level and understand the interconnectedness of network participants.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the e-commerce domain, particularly with multi-seller platforms or marketplaces.
- Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems.
- Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles relevant to e-commerce catalogues.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics).
