Business Analyst - Banking Domain

We are seeking a Business Analyst II for our OFSS Banking Organization.

- The Resource Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal allocation of resources to meet project demands and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to gather information on upcoming project resource needs.

- Develop and maintain short- and long-term resource forecasts based on project demand and workforce availability.

- Efficiently allocate internal and external resources (offshore, nearshore, contractors) across projects to fit demand and budget constraints.

- Ensure optimal resource utilization while maintaining balance across projects.

- Establish strong internal and external customer relationships, ensuring that the resource needs are met efficiently and effectively.

- Participate in weekly or monthly resource management meetings to address staffing concerns or gaps.

- Track and analyze resource utilization metrics, identifying under- or over-utilized resources and proposing solutions.

- Monitor, consolidate, and provide overall practice reports, including ad hoc resourcing reporting.

- Identify hiring needs based on resource shortages and assist in securing approvals for new hires and contractors.

- Actively monitor the selection and acceptance process for assigned resources, ensuring that they meet project requirements.

- Ensure complete and accurate time entry setup in the project accounting system, consistent with resource assignments.

- Drive timely entry of billable time across the team.

- Maintain data integrity across systems and ensure timely updates.

- Offer creative solutions when no resources with the necessary skill sets are available.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve resource-related issues effectively and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in resource management or business analysis, ideally within a consulting environment.

- Strong understanding of resource allocation, forecasting, and utilization metrics.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and establish strong working relationships.

- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

- Proficient in project management tools and resource management software.

- Highly adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.

- Ability to anticipate and address staffing gaps or concerns proactively.

- Experience with project accounting systems and time entry management.

- Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment, specifically within resource management.

- Certifications in project management or resource management are a plus (e. , PMP, Scrum Master)
