Job Description: Assistant Director of Sales.

Location: Nagpur, Uttar Pradesh, South India.

Compensation: Up to 25 LPA.

Experience: 9-15 years (significant B2C sales and team handling experience required).

Team Goal:

- As the Assistant Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a blueprint for solar energy adoption in the B2C space.

- Leveraging your extensive experience in sales, marketing, and team building, you will develop and execute a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to meet ambitious expansion and revenue targets.

- You will be the primary advocate for our brand within the industry, leading a 100+ member sales team to deliver world-class, customer-centric results.

Role Overview:

- We are seeking a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of scaling sales in a high-growth startup environment.

- You will be responsible for building and leading a customer-centric sales organization that aligns with our vision of reimagining home energy.

- This role demands strong interpersonal skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity while balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution.

- As a senior leader in the sales function, you will drive exponential growth, foster a high-performance culture, and shape the future of the residential solar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a GTM plan, including market research, case studies, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation.

- Lead, motivate, and mentor a 100+ member sales team, setting clear, measurable goals to drive business growth.

- Create and manage sales targets using transparent and data-driven objectives.

- Coach Solar Consultants on sales processes and target achievement while remaining hands-on.

- Demonstrate leadership by building high-performing teams, driving key process metrics, and fostering a customer-focused culture.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop shortand long-term strategies for efficient business growth.

- Conduct market research to assess potential, track competitors, and refine sales, marketing, and expansion strategies.

- Own the sales funnel end-to-end, ensuring consistent tracking and achievement of sales targets.

- Identify, experiment with, and execute innovative ideas to enable team growth, leveraging autonomy in decision-making.

Key Skills:

- MBA with 9-15 years of professional experience in B2C sales and strategy.

- Proven experience managing a B2C sales team of 30+ members.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a focus on results.
